How We Print It

A clear guide to Adgiftdiscounts in-house and outsourced printing, decoration and specialist production methods.

Service guide — 3 September 2026 2 min read Print friendly

Branded products, matched to the right process

Different products and quantities need different decoration methods. Our team chooses a process according to the material, artwork, finish, run length, budget and deadline. Some work is completed by our in-house team and specialist processes are completed by trusted production partners.

In-house printing and decoration

Screen printing

A durable, cost-effective process for bold spot colours on suitable garments, bags and flat products. It is especially efficient for larger runs once screens are prepared.

Embroidery

Thread is stitched directly into garments, caps, bags and selected textiles. Embroidery gives a durable, professional finish and works particularly well for workwear.

DTF and heat transfers

Direct-to-film and related transfer methods reproduce detailed, multi-colour artwork on compatible garments and textiles. They are useful for short runs, fine detail and designs with several colours.

Pad printing

An inked silicone pad transfers artwork onto shaped or uneven items such as pens and selected promotional products.

UV and digital printing

Digital processes can reproduce full-colour detail directly onto compatible flat or slightly shaped products, subject to the product's print area and surface.

Debossing and foil blocking

A die presses a design into suitable leather, faux leather, card or notebook covers. Foil can add a metallic or coloured finish where the material and design allow.

Sublimation

Heat turns specialist ink into a permanent image on coated products or polyester-rich materials. It is commonly used for mugs and suitable full-colour items.

Outsourced specialist printing

We also use trusted specialist suppliers where a product, machine, certification or production scale calls for it. The order acknowledgement and artwork proof remain managed by the Adgiftdiscounts team.

Laser engraving

A laser removes or changes the surface of suitable metal, wood, glass or coated items for a precise, durable mark.

Full-colour specialist print

Supplier-based digital, transfer, wrap and direct-print processes can cover products or print areas that are not suitable for our in-house equipment.

Doming and resin badges

Printed graphics are covered with a clear resin dome for a raised, glossy and durable branded finish.

Litho, paper and packaging print

Specialist presses are used for longer paper runs, pads, notebooks, packaging and jobs requiring dedicated finishing or binding.

Bespoke manufacture

For fully customised items, production may include moulding, weaving, casting, custom colour matching or overseas manufacture. Lead times and tolerances are confirmed with the quotation.
